New Life in Hawaii

In 2014 I met someone on Tinder. That was when Tinder was new and didn't have the rep it does now.

In 2019 we moved to O'ahu, got a house together and started living our best Pandemic 2020 life.

We did lose our beloved Roxy 2 months into moving to our new home. It was heartbreaking, but also expected, as she was 16 years old. I was so happy she was by my side for so long. I was even happier to find someone who loved her as much as I did.

We are now here in Hawaii and learning so much about the differences in lifestyle, compared to city life in Los Angeles.

Today is Indigenous Peoples' Day 2020, something nudged me to log on and give an update 6 years later.

I also just completed filming last night on my short film "Clearance", about Vampires that attack O'ahu. It has been great meeting two communities since we moved here. The first is the local filmmaking community, especially "Sa'ke Film Collective". They brought my script to life and I can't thank the cast and crew enough.

I'm also so grateful to the Creator for bringing the Native American community to me, even here in Hawaii. I met some awesome people and I'm so happy I can still be involved with Indigenous issues since I moved.

That's it for now. I'm physically exhausted and I need to eat something.
